What primary photographic style do you identify with? Contemporary, Photojournalism, Portraiture, Traditional / Posed
What do your packages include? Albums, Custom Graphic Design, Digital Files, Flush Mount, High Resolution Images, Prints, Proof CD of All Images, Thank You Cards, Video Montage
Do you have liability insurance? Yes. Our insurance covers us on every event we provide our services.
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning? We specially hand craft each photo by retouching it and brighting up the colors. This is included in any package.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations? We are capable shooting in any kind of lighting as long as there is some light and if not we'll create it when we can. Many creative shots can be made from different lighting situation already given to us so we love to take advantage of that and create something artistic.
Is your media preference film or digital? We use digital SLR cameras only.
How many photographers do you work with? We currently have two teams of two photographers ready. Currently we are training a third team. Also we have a network of photographers that we work with thru out NY area.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? Yes. Not like the mass production studios you actually will meet with your photographer and he/she will actually shows up to your event.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? We never book more then one event per day. Ocassionally we have more then one wedding during the 3 day weekend but we are trying to keep it to one day per weekend so we can concentrate on our post production and give a quicker turn around for your albums and photos.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? We currently have two teams of two photographers ready so it gives us the advantage to always have someone on stand by. It's only one team per day so the other team is always around.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? Plenty of digital SLR cameras and many lenses. Lights are used when necessary or when preferred do to creative touch of the photographer. We are very discrete and unabstrusive during your event. The idea is to capture many natural shots.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? We always have two sets of backup between two photographers.
Do you charge hourly or full day? We have 11 hours package and 8 hours package. Please see our pricing to see the difference. If we need to stay little longer then we do.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours? Depends how many hours and is it a destination wedding. Most weddings are up to 11 hours long so if you pick the package with 11 hours then I think time frame should be good. During our meeting we'll go over your time frame and see if it's something we can to.
What is your policy on taking breaks?If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? We never expect a meal break but we do go with the flow of the party and capture all moments. Usually we bring our own food such as snacks and juice to eat on the go but many weddings do have an actual brake time where we take advantage of and go with the flow.
Do you charge for travel? Yes. Please contact us to discuss traveling options or we can discuss some options during our appointment.
In what format are the initial proofs offered? We offer the initial proofs on three different media storage: CD, DVD and a portable memory(USB stick/memory cards). You may print from the files up to 5 x 7 photos and if you feel you need a large portrait beside what's included in your package then you can print thru us by using the online photo store.
How long can the client keep the proofs? They are digital files on a media storage, so you can keep them forever. We do not print out proofs since we shoot up to 700 and more photos during your event. This is why we give away the images for you to print out what ever photo you like. Our company is changing to green thinking and this is one of our first steps.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos? The studio does retain the copyright for all photos taken and has the right to publish them(to an extend). You will get the permission to print up to 5x7 photos only.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? Yes. We will allow the photos to be published in a wedding magazine or a newspaper to announce your wedding.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client? Yes, only digital files. We offer the initial proofs on three different media storage: CD, DVD and a portable memory(USB stick/memory cards). You may print from the files up to 5 x 7 photos and the rest you would go thru us.
Will images be available for viewing online? All of our clients will have a private online site that will show their wedding photos in a music gallery and a slide show gallery.
What kind of albums do you offer? We offer flush mount albums and Coffe table albums. You may see those during your appointment with us.
When will the client get the final album? 3 to 5 weeks time after your wedding date the wedding album design is shown for the clients approval. You'll have three available changes and once it's finalized by the client then we can order the albums. The initial delivery from our album company is one to two weeks time. It depends on our clients approval date when the album will be delivered. A time rush can be made do to unique cercumstances.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?The proofs are ready any where between three to five weeks time. Depends if it's a destination wedding. This also could be done within two weeks time depends on where in the season your event will be.
